When we leave positive impressions behind, we enhance the lives of those we touch and a part of us lives on through them…We give them footprints to follow.
Lifeline Volunteers have the opportunity to contribute their time and life experiences. Our volunteers are truly ANGELS! There is training, monthly informative meetings and an opportunity to participate in a merit system to earn “wings” and “halos” through hours served.
Serve as a liaison for Lifeline Family Center to your church and/or workplace.
Crisis Pregnancy Counselor
Train to be a hotline volunteer offering positive alternative to adoption– available to do from home.
Events, Public Relations, & Fund-raising
Promote and/or participate in awareness events, man booth at Fairs, Expos etc. assist Ministry Development with mailings, phone calls and general office tasks.
Provide tutoring services in Math, Phonics, Grammar and Reading Comprehension.
Sort and organize donated items.
If you have experience with grants, spend a few hours a week researching foundations for possible funding.
Healing Hearts Ministry
Satan wants to keep women who have had an abortion in bondage to guilt and shame. Jesus want to forgive them and set them free, Train and lead a Post Abortion Healing Bible Study.
Life Skills Teacher
Share various life skills you’ve learned such as: cake decorating, sewing, CPR, cooking, nutrition, car care, first aid, makeovers (hair, cosmetics, fashion), resume writing, GED tutors, art, physical fitness.
Care for our little ones while Mom is at school or on an occasional evening. Feed, diaper, and play with babies. Follow parenting principals taught at Lifeline Family Center.
Answer phones, take messages, make photocopies, help with mailings, filing, update data entry, make phone calls.
Commit to praying daily for girls, babies, staff members, volunteers, and various ministry programs.
Handyman repairs, landscaping, lawn mowing, repair donated items, clean office space and public areas.
Relief Houseparent(s)/Housemom Assistant
Weekend, weekday, and/or on-call evening relief to oversee chores, and enforce guidelines.
Provide transportation to and/or from appointments and classes.
We provide the training for those positions that require it, but what we need are people to take an interest in these girl’s lives, and show them what it means to be a responsible, caring adult.
Prerequisites for Volunteering
A personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
Refrain from smoking and drinking alcoholic beverages around the girls and/or babies.
Provide fingerprints, background check and character references.
